            The Reverend David Schneider is serving as interim minister at Central Presbyterian Church in Russellville.  Formerly from California, he graduated from Anderson College of Idaho. He earned his Master of Divinity from Lancaster Theological Seminary in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1971.  He is the son of Dr. Arnold and Lois Schneider, who served as medical missionaries with the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Missions in Tabriz, Iran, 1949-1959, where he spent his childhood.

He has served in United Presbyterian Churches UPC(USA) located in Pennsylvania, Kansas, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Louisiana.  Most recently he served as interim pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Guymon in the Oklahoma Panhandle.  He has been an interim pastor specialist for the past seven years. 

Pastor Schneider's hobbies include long-distance bicycling, gardening (bromeliads), cooking, antique Lionel railroading, and is a Past District Govern with the Lions Club.  He and his wife Peggy make their permanent home in the Ft. Worth, Texas area, where she is in the banking business.
